The asparagus season is coming closer with each passing day, and we would like to take this occasion to breath new life into this website. We have come to present you a way to prepare asparagus that has become increasingly popular over the last years:

Asparagus made in the Baking Oven

For 4 persons you need about 2 kg of white asparagus, which you peel carefully and part into four portions. Place the asparagus on cooking foil, such as aluminum, and add some salt and sugar. Pour melted butter over the asparagus. Depending on your preferred taste, you may also put 1 to 2 slices of oranges on top of it.
Wrap the cooking foil firmly around the asparagus and simmer it in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 40 to 45 minutes.

The simmering in its own juice makes the asparagus taste even more intensive.
As a side dish, you can take fresh potatoes, a well-prepared steak or schnitzel.
