Seasonal Preparation at the Farm

The furrows between the earth walls of the asparagus farm are loosened to promote rapid drying.

An asparagus ribbing plow helps carry out this work.

The wooden stick mounted on the tractor is used to aim at the wooden shovel handle.

At the same time, the ribbing plow trailed by the tractor digs the furrows into the field and piles up the loose soil.

A milling machine mounted at the front of the tractor is additionally loosening the soil.

The ridge mounder trailed by the tractor gives the earth ridge of the asparagus field its distinctive look.
